Rajan Ayappan is the principal counsel of Ayappan & Partners, called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 30 April 2004. He read law as a pupil in the chambers of Muralee Menon at Messrs Jaffar & Menon, a distinguished firm known for its courtroom excellence.

His core areas of expertise span insurance litigation (motor & non-motor), clinical negligence, probate & administration, land disputes, and conveyancing. He is widely recognised for his work in these fields and has secured landmark decisions before the Federal Court and Court of Appeal.

The firm currently serves as Ad hoc Solicitor for the Naza Group of Companies and Sutra Holistik and has successfully completed transactions for the Naza Group including a joint venture agreement valued at RM 15.4 million and a sale & purchase agreement for a building valued at RM 8 million.
